  THE SOLUTION For the Attorney: Trustconsult is the solution. We provide the Attorney with a book or manual of how to make the transfers, that is given to their client. This book called Trust Yourself, provides the Trustee with an additional resource on how to make the transfers and how to act as their own trustee. Additionally, the Attorney can recommend that the client attend a workshop on how to make the transfers. This workshop, put on by Trustconsult, leads the client through the maze of making transfers and managing the trust. The Attorney can continue to charge the appropriate rate to the client but not have to get involved with the transfers. The cost of the workshop may be billed directly to the Trustee (client) or it can be billed as part of the legal services provided. On an individual basis Trustconsult will go to the individuals home or place of business and help them fill out transfer forms and prepare letters to transfer agents and others. We will also follow-up on an annual basis to see if there are newly acquired assets that need to be transferred. A review of what we have done will be sent to the Attorney annually to update their records and provide evidence of due diligence. In short, it is like having an in-house trust administrator to assist clients. Trustconsult is the solution to the problem. We provide a hands-on workbook of how to be your own trustee called "Trust Yourself." The book leads the trustee through a step-by-step process of establishing the accounting system and transferring the assets. It also helps them understand how to deal with service providers. There are sample forms provided, with instructions to help them understand how to complete the form. With the workbook as a guide, the trustee can enroll in a three hour workshop where they will be taught how to make the transfers. Forms will be provided at the workshop, along with examples of accounting systems, and an up-to-date listing of all transfer agents, their addresses, and fees. If the trustee would like, a Trust Consultant will go to the trustees' home or place of business and help them make the transfers individually. The Trust Consultant will go with them to banks, and brokerages and see that the accounts are titled properly. The Consultant will prepare all letters to transfer agents and fill out the forms with them to transfer the assets. Trustconsult will bill fees for this service directly to the Trustee.
